The aim of the campaign was to provide the most up to date advice on safe internet use and to encourage children (11-14 yrs) to think twice about their behaviour online, by presenting them with the potential dangers within the virtual world. The ads ran on social sites that the kids were using.
There were also online ads cleverly placed within MSN chat and the interactive banners worked in harmony.
This campaign delivered massive 9.8% click through rates and 80% message recall rate.
Originally a digital campaign, this work won our digital agency the above-the-line work too.

Child Protection won across the board, at Creative showcase, Cannes Lions, Campaign digital, IDM business performance awards, MSN Europe, IMA, Online publishing, IVCA and The One Show.
